400 ex shifter

The stock shifter works pretty good for average trail riding, but when you want to ride agreesive with riding gear and BOOTS. What would be the best shifter to use to keep from missing gears? It seems I can't get the STOCK shifter adjusted right. WHat could be the solution to my problem?

I like the pro design shifter. Seems to work well. No bending like the stocker either.

I run a Moose with a spring loaded end, I've had very good luck with this one and it's way cheaper than a pro design. I've raced with it for two years and it still looks like new.
