ne1 who has made skid plates for a 250x or 300ex
1)what kind of metal did you use?
2)what were the dimensions lik width n height n all that

take some cardboard make a trace out of how u want it . put it on the metal trace it then cut. thinkness depends on what for xc or mx;)

hope you have some 3/16 sitting around... because thats probably what your gonna pay or close just for the materials.:confused:

Yeah, I used the cardboard method when I made a full skid for the kids 250, I happen to have a friend in the sheet metal bussiness so it cost very little. If you have that kind of connection it isn't too bad but you cant do it very easily without a good bender. I got my AC for $60 from Hellbound racing (cheap)

I make body skid plates using an aluminum sheet and steel reinforcements. They are mounted using metal U brackets. I make them so that they are very gentle on the frame and prevent scratches. They work very well and are light weight. And are just as good as any other, and a whole lot cheaper.

I charge $60 SHIPPED for them. Let me know if you'd like one.

Do what i did and use a Stop sign and make it out of that. No dont do that i was just joking a round.
