Umm doesn't duct tape compliment just about anything.:D I don't think you can own a quad and not have duct tape, zip ties, or chicken wire holding something on/together.:D

I have CT racing seat cover and haven't had one problem. I've had it two years and ride all winter long in Wisconsin.

its literally -16 degrees out right now and I went riding today, no problem, I've never had a problem except the front of the seat where it rubs against the gastank plastic when I put on and off the seat, that has a few small holes.-darren

I own a ceet seat covor

Has everyone that had this happen to them running Factory Effects seat covers? I have a one ind. kit sitting here, and wonder if anyone has had trouble withthat particular Brand.
Thanks

01-29-2004, 03:04 PM
its just the vynil on the seat cover. its not the brand.

My bro has a Ceet seat cover and it cracked big time the first time he rode it in the cold weather, it may look good but the only thing that seat cover is good for is a lazy boy!

Cascade Innovations is the way to go for the seat covers and have them put the gripper pad in the middle.

Has anyone ever tried getting a refund. It sounds like faulty product materials to me. I installed a Factory Effex seat cover/ grafics kit a month ago. I'm affraid to ride it now that it is cold. I was thinking of calling Rocky Mountain and explain the issue and see if I could exchange it.

Tommy 17

yes during riding... the seat gets cold and the sides don't want to bend so they crack;)

I have had both(One Ind/Factory Effect)and neither cracked.Now I will admit it wasn't -15 degrees but they lasted through 2 Mid South seasons(1 each season)with no cracks.
