Great news!!

I got great news today. My daughter was given permission to walk. After almost two years in a wheelchair. Yahoo:D
For those of you that don't know, she broke her hip badly.

nothing is worse then not being able to walk... u never relize how hard it is till u haven't done it for a year +... i couldn't walk for a year and my 1st step i hit the ground like a ton of bricks... i totaly forgot how ot walk:(

i shattered my left femur... couldn't walk for about ayear...



it was weird bc i was so use to not puttin weight on my leg that the 1st time i did it just sorta went out from under me... i had to hold onto rails and it took me a good week to learn how to walk... it was on of the hardest things i ever had to do...

WOW! Thats kinda unbeleive able! Thats GREAT! 2 years without walking would be CRAZY! Your daughter must have a lot of will power! Thats great to hear, sorry it had to happen, but now she can walk and move on with her life...

i do now know what i would do if i couldn't walk, i play soccer great news. Its good to hear something like this every now and then to make you thankfull for things you normally don't think about
