today i rejetted my 300. I put a 140 main in...and i also took my 14t front sprocket off and put a 12 tooth front on... and i dont know wether it was the sprockets or the new jetting, but this thing has some balls now!!! i mean it just feels faster and runs better. I'm definatly staying with this gearing and these jetting setups when i go to the track next time. Just wanted to let yall know this :p o, and my AC Racing stuff came in today too :devil:

Glad to hear that you're quad is running better. Many people don't realize just how important correct carb jetting is. It can make or break the performance of a motor.

a 140 seems pretty big unless your bike has quite a few nice mods done. the front sprocket you put on will make you loose a lot of top speed. tire sizes also play a role here too though.

a buddy of mine runs a 180 main in his built 250x with no problems, can you even use 1st gear with the 12?

A 12 tooth is only 1 tooth less than stock. As far as your jetting, I thought it would run better if you jetted down from your 155 that you did have in it. Since I run a 132 MJ at sea level and it's perfect you should be getting close to the correct main jet seeing as how you have a few more mods than I do.
