what would win in a race

would my 416ex loose to a z400 with a full ct pipe and web cam stage 2. Mods listed below.

well since the bikes are basically the same ur 416ex obviously has more mods so hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

ya but i got a hotcam stage 1and he is getting a web cam stage 2 and ful ct pipe wich is 9.9 horse, and i got a r4 pipe, porting polishing, bored carb, 11.2-1 compression, revkit, and i am geared down.

416 ex would win but port work and a bigger bore over comes anything

i have a feeling it may be close. i have raced some piped z's that were pretty quick. however, i have raced some that have been terds. that z may open up more with the same amount of mods done.

I think it all comes down to the rider itself. I've seen a couple of guys that could totally ride the piss out of a stock 400ex against whatever you would be riding. I'd say it's 85% rider 15% bike. Not talking about drag racing either. That also depends on the distance & who can really launch off the line & go through the gears the best. Just my .02:)

:confused: I have a stock bore 400ex, with a yoshimura full exhaust system, HRC cam, and a mild port job,stock carb,with kNn,165main,and 45 pilot jet,raced z400's with pipes have not lost to one,this I would not lie about I got honda running through my veins I hate all brand Xs{anything not honda}Check your jetting.:D

i agree the one with the better rider will probaly win. but the Z is a fast quad. my brother loves his and i love to beat it!!!!:devil:

If you are pretty good at drag racing, the 416 should win. If he is better at drag racing, it might be a close race, but with your mods the 416 should win.
