Help on cutting plastic

Ok I have some Maier plastic not the race cut....does anyone have pics on how to cut the plastic to put a hood on it? Also which hood would look better the 400ex or 250r? Any pics would be helpful. Thanks.

Got it solved...I'm going with a black raptor hood on my orange maier plastic....Thanks 400grl!
