Fat Bars

Anybody know if the bar mounts are the same on the new 450R as the 400EX\250R. I want to put TAG fat bars on, but wonder if 400EX style clamps will work. If anybody knows what I'm talkin about, a little help please.:huh

just depends if you have a universal 1 1/8 in clamp kit. it will probably work. call golden west they would definately know.

TAG makes clamp kit specifically fot atv models, cause some of the universal kits you have to modify. I am just tryin to figure out which route to take.

I bought universal Tusk fat bar clamps, and I'm putting my Pro tapers on it.:cool:

I was going to put pro tapers on mine but got looking and will need to mount the key switch and the oil light somehow. I got looking at my cousins 400EX and it looks like the spaceing is pretty close so you should be able to get the bar clamps for a 400EX and have them work. I can't gurantee this yet but I will try to get some measurements tomorrow.
