"R" chassis YZF motor ??????

Is it as easy as doing a 400ex chassis?We have a ARENS R chassis and want to put a YZF400 motor in it.I have seen a lot on the 400ex conversion but not on the R.help,any pics would be appreciated.thanks,Jon

Its not as easy because I believe the top frame rails have to be raised to fit the 4-stroke motor in. It can be done just a lot of chopping and welding must be done. This is why they use the 400ex chassis. But I dont know from personal experience sorry.

Im not sure but where did you get the Arens chassis? did you buy it form them or from another person?
