Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to open theres up yet,,, I live in new england and right now pretty much the only place Iride is on the frozen lake behind my house, I was just wondering if when I do get mine I will be happy with it out there, What would you say the top speed is, stock? with the HRC kit? It is gonna be tough breaking it in, I am just gonna want to rip into it, but oh well, Anyway, I get mine feb. 6th or sooner and I cant wait.

Well personally I didn't think top speed was all that fast. Don't get me wrong it hauls but it seems that it could use another gear but I guess you don't really go that fast on the track or in the trails unless you are on some wide open trails or on some gravel roads. But it does get to top speed pretty quick.

is it in the 60's with the 400ex's and the z's or is it in the 70's with the raptor, the predator, and the ds 650... whats it close to u think??

you could easily gear it to do over 74...it prob. only goes 65 tops but it will get their very fast

That is why the make us sprockets fellas. You can get it to go in the 90's if you gear it right. But I kinda think top speed is over rated. You want bottom end on the track and you want a little of everything in the trails. I'll be looking for that happy medium myself in a week or two...:blah:

Thats right, I do, but just for now, I don't want to re gear it yet, maybe for next year. I was jus curios because for right now, I only ride on the lake behind my house and all you can really do is go flat out, I currently ride my my 81 cr450rand atc 350x out there, I was just trying to get an idea of how I would like the trx out there. I agree 100% that it usually isn't imporant, especially for me, I am a woods/trail rider so low end and midrange is my main importance, but that will be when springtime comes,,,, it hasn't been over 30 degrees here in like 3 weeks. Thanks for all the imputfrom those that understood my question ;)
