Wanted to tap some knowledge of you XC guys. I was riding my YFZ450 on snow in a field and in the woods lats sunday and didnt feel like my RazrII 6-ply's where hooking up to good. steering was great but i was slipping a lot. ( i know. Snow has that effect on tires). What pressure would you recommend for this kind of riding? i had 6 in rear tires nd 6 in front tires. felt way to hard.

I run mine down around 3 lbs(rear) in the snow. about 4 front.

yea tire pressure will make a difference...even tho the tires are tough (6ply) with the lower pressure they will work much better

you have to realize the snow will give you a smoother ride so you can run a lower tire pressure while still not having to rough of a ride (as in hitting stuff)
