solid colors (red, black etc) will fade when used in an outdoor enviroment. even tho they are listed as UV safe, they will fade and lose thier luster. by adding clear to those colors it will last much longer(the shine)

alot of people see all the fancy pictures and think it will look that way forever. well it will, if you only ride in perfect weather, never get roosted, never wash the quad with harsh soaps, you getting the picture here:p

you can wax the part ocasionally, and i recomend simple green (used properly) and after normal washing the frame or part should be wiped off with a cotton towel.

if a racer wants fancy colors ill do them. but usually i recommend normal solid colors with clear because they will get jackked up:p

Oh yeh if i ever got elka shocks for like under 600 dallors i was wondering if i could go with no ressies now and get ssd or get with piggys with the ssd vavled for me for less the 600 dallors I dunno just worry can't seem to get things write always needed to spend money now and no job till summer :(
