Brake hoses?

Our 96 300ex has started to have some front brake problems. I've bled the heck out of it, after rebuilding the master cylinder and it still feels a little squishy..do the brake lines get soft after awhile and not hold pressure as well?

I had wondered about this myself and would like to know also.

Could be an excuse to buy SS lines:p

The rubber lines will get soft over time and can give you a spongy feel. Braided stainless lines will get rid of the soft feel if the rest of the brake system is in good shape.

Mine were the same way . I rebuilt the master cylinder,added ss brakelines, and an rtc brake lever. I don't have any problems now :macho
