nerf bars for 04 250EX???

yo bros...

a friend of mine just bought a 04 250EX...and has tried 3 different nerf bars so far...and none of em fit!!! :eek2:

Anyone have any ideas on this? What did they change on the 04...and who makes good nerf bars for this bike????

yo River I've been looking at nerf bars too. I didn't realize that they wouldn't fit... I noticed my 03 has threaded holes in the frame where it tapers in at the a arms so I would assume that's where they bolt up. If I find a pair I want to keep the stock mud/rock guards at my heels. What manufactures have you tried that don't fit?
