JB and laegers are together now also...
JB builds laeger frames... there is no such thing as a laeger frame now... its all JB...
JD is just a guy that worked for laeger and then went on his own...

Tommy is correct. I believe JB is mostly doing the Laeger frames, but Laeger is still doing some a-arms and stuff.

yeah laeger still makes all the other parts also but JB is sort of a copy of it...

JD's used to be similar, but Laeger has since then updated some with newer ball joints, etc. JD's are just built by a guy that worked for Laeger!

has there been any report about ball joints breaking??? since they are threaded into the arm instead of intergreded like walsh and roll...
also will i lose some travel like the houser lt since there is no gull wing design to these a arms??

Man, I can't wait till I get enough dough saved up to get my JB's! They are quite popular around here and I think the product is excellent considering the price. I am definitely getting JB's!

Timo I would have to say that kingpins have more problems and wear out faster then these ball joints. and travel is not a problem with these bad boys.

The bottom ball joint is not threaded into the arm, it is a revolutionary balljoing designed by Mark Laeger. It's to prevent balljoint breakage. Even his regular a-arms have this set up.

JB and Laeger long travel a-arms are practically identical.
JB has the manufacturing rights to Laeger's frames. I do not believe he has the rights to put the Laeger's name on it. LRD bought those I believe, for the aluminum ones.
Laeger will continue to make all of his bolt on parts, but no more frames. There are only 6 Laeger CRF frames in existence, and these were the last of the real Laeger frames.
I get all my info from the father of a rider, who is sponsored by Baldwin (who has the final Laeger CRF frame). He gets his info from Baldwin. And Tommy gets his info from me. :blah:

I have different ball joints than those pictured on my JB's:confused:
I can say that I am extremely happy with them. I really like the o-ring bushing design...

I distinctly remember Jody telling me that they were a different ball joint design than leager's cause he said that Leager's were prone to breaking at the ball joint threads:confused:
Here's a pic of my JB's:

Laeger made the new ball joints above not real long ago. He came up with a new design to be much better then the old setup. May be Jody was talking about the older style.
