Project 250x..

I have made a few post about this but i deleted them and made this one;)

I am waiting on Fullbore, Clarke Tank, Custom 14.75" TCS front shocks, 400ex spindles, and other little things....

..this whole project hasn't turned out nearly as good as planned but i think it will be ONE of the nicest 300ex/250x's on here when its done(i hope)

and an overall view....you can see the sparks exhaust which also has a curtis sparks 300cc engine(use to be 318 but had to get a smaller one for youth production)

If you could have seen this before you would be amazed....it was a piece of junk...i bought it off ebay and it looked nice, but once i got it, it wasn't so great! I have also got some unplanned things, Ez Pull clutch lever, Laeger steering stem, new sprockets and a whole new braking setup...

and here is a pic of my newest project...1974 Yamaha 70cc Champ, it was my dad's when he was a kid and my grandpa said i could get it out of his shed. Still has the warranty card, owners manual and everything. It will make a cool pitbike..

sweet champ. i woudlnt use it. that thing is worth alot of money. put about 200 bucks into it and you can make major $$$$ outta it. i got my first bike a 1974 dt-125 put about 300 into it and cleaned her till you could eat off her and i made over 800 smaks on her! or keep it as a momento. either way treat her nice cause she is worth it;)

Thats what i've though about doing..it doesnt need alot of work so it wouldn't cost to much to clean up...and i got it for free:D

im not sure:confused: we hae to wait till monday to hear back form John Arens. If everyhtign go as planned. It will be doen before March 28th i will have a motor being ported n polished and hopfully a storker crank when i am in Florida febuary 10th-28th

and then it will go form there.

cos thats what i did last year, cept i got tired of ridin a stock 300ex and just started raicing the dale..lol

Yea i will be racing youth production on the 250(300x) in youth production nearly every weekend this year...and be at about 4 nationals getting ready to race the cannondale.

this is what the dale looks like now except it has a quadtech seatcover that i will get a pic of in about a week.

so are the 250x's really faster because of 300ex's because of the hotter cams?

Im not sure why but they are. I bought the 250 not knowing anything about them...they are very easy to figure out and work on though...

My old 318 sparks engine could smoke a 330. Im not sure about this new 300 Sparks engine though

wtf? it has nothing to do with the cams that i kno of, its that the 250 has a shorter stroke so its faster. Like i dont know if im right, but i think Roostin's 300 kit will probably be faster than my 330? maybe maybe not.
