Deegans wreck OUCH!

Did anyone else see deegans wreck on Winter X games? he tried to d a 360 backflip but couldnt fully rotate the bike so bailed out and hit pretty hard, i think he would prolly end up with a broken arm,ribs, and leg. It wasnt very pretty

It basically because everyone knows about fmx. But personally I never want to see quads in the x games or anything like that why? Because i like it that quads aren't main stream and that people don't really know who or what your talking about.

I heard the same thing.

That was a gnarly wreck. The bike just stopped rotating. They said he couldnt get the necesary turn off the lip to get the rotation started earlier/faster because of the poor traction on the ice.

Metz's nac-nac flip was pretty sick..

yeah i saw it it was pretty bad....what was he thinking the gap was 90 feet and he hasnt got the mulisha twist or whatever down perfectly yet!!!hes pretty crazy

Deegan is the greatest freestyle rider I believe I have ever seen. Alot of people think that Pastrana is but I just dont think he is as crazy as Deegan.

I was watching when it happened. I can't believe he tried that off of that jump, that was seriously bad judgement. I think the one in Summer X that he did it off of was only like 45ft. You could tell that the guy that was waiting to go next (Metzger?) was thinking it was stupid for him to have tried that, he just wasn't going to say it...

Eh, I dunno. Summer X was a long time ago, and I'm sure Deegan has done it off big gap before. The sport is all about progression, and these days even a 'simple' backflip won't win a competition. X-Games are the biggest competition all year and you have to step it up. I think Deegs knew what he needed to do on the lip, but his tire slipped a little and threw his rotation off. I guess you can say it was a little bit of poor judgement for not taking the jump face traction into consideration.
