All this talk about ppl gettn' thier 450R is making me xcited about getting my new 450R throwing it on the dyno (stock), then dyno'n it with the HRC kit, then ridn' it a weekend in PA, then tearing it down to build it up to 567cc. I'll call it my 550R


I'm sooo stoked!

You fellas that have yours are really fortunate that you can start sleeping again at night and not lying awake like the rest of us are kinda like kiddies waiting for SANTA!! Anyway, I'm 34 tommorrow and it would be awesome if HONDA delivered me my bday present on time.....

heavy port polish by NASCAR machinist

Why not go higher on the compression? It's water cooled so it should be able to handle it even on pumped. Isn't it going to take awhile to get a piston since it isn't the same as a CRF bike piston?

It's just a preference to run pump gas if I have to on the trails of PA. My calculations for my 567 is about 104 octane requirements, but pump gas could get me back to the truck if I had too.

As far as getting pistons made, I've already designed my piston for JE and they will be making batches for me to sell with my kits. I'm in no hurry right now, but I should be starting by end of feb.

well guys im here in buffalo, ny. talked to my dealer to after he got the call saying my bike is on its way, i should receive it early next week, tomorrow would be sweet though!!!!!!!!

yup!

Buffalo NY is cold as h3ll when your flying on your 450r doing a top speed of 97mph with 22" rear tires, 15/36 gearing. And believe me when I say that 97mph will be clocked at the strip this season on a 567R!

yes, but its rumored that 75/80 won't be running much longer. I don't know for positive but if not there then MIR

Chad - too bad you don't live around here. Quad drags are HUGE in KY for some reason. I'm talkin 100-200+ quads at monthly local races.
