I just got a new WB E-series pipe for my 400EX, and it came with this Powerfilter. I don't remember the stock filter having a hole in the end of it for securing it to the cage, and I'm wondering if this is the right filter. The quad is stored out in the desert, so I would like to have the proper parts so I could set it up next time out. Could anyone running a WB Powerfilter on their 400 please let me know?

Thanks

What goes through the hole when it is mounted? I can't remember anything through the stock filter, but I don't have it here to check it.
As far as jetting, I am going with a 155 main, stock pilot w/ screw 2 1/2 turns out, and starting off stock position(3rd groove) on the needle clip. I plan on doing plug chops in the different ranges, and seeing where I'm at. All this is at <500' elevation, air temp around 60*, stock gearing and tires, and using Keihin jets.

yes, it is like the stock one. the metal screen inside the stock filter comes out and goes into that white brothers one.

So, the correct WB Powerfilter doesn't have a hole in the end like the picture I have posted? I need to know if I have the right filter or not.

Thanks

THE STOCK CAGE THAT GOES WITH YOR STOCK FILTER NEEDS TO BE USED WITH THE WB FILTER. there is a niple on the end of the cage that protrudes through the hole a bit. sorry in caps disnt relize till it was to late

O.K. I figured it out. On the end of the stock cage there is a nipple that sticks through the hole at the end of the filter. The problem was, that on my original filter, the little piece of foam was never punched out. Comparing to a new 400 showed me what the problem was.

Thanks
