How can you remove the spindles from the stock a-arms?
With a ball joint remover tool... At least that's the easiest way..
hit the spindle with a hammer pretty hard several times the shock from that will loosen thm up.

I used a hammer, screwdriver, and other random tools. Also, when you have the shock disconnected, and the bike on a stand with wheels off the ground, pick up the wheel all the way and drop it. It may work, probably not!! May just loosin' it up a little. Either way, IT SUCKS @$$!!!!

You can use sockets as spacers in between the top and bottom a arm bolts. I had to remove mine recently. I first backed (loosened) the nuts off a bit. I then used the open end of some wrenches over the threads as spacers, then put a deepwell socket between them, and cranked the opposite bolt. They popped right off like nobodys business. And I'm not even a hillbilly.
