I was researching some axles and noticed the Lonestar said it was adjustable.
How do you adjust the width on an axle? And are all axles this way?

the splines for the hub are longer on aftermarket axles. they come with a spacer, so you can either put it in front of the hub or behind it. this is what makes it wider or more narrow. all aftermarket axles are setup like this.
My LS axle is adj and it comes 2 inches wider than stock period. You can adjust it from +2 too +4 but once you put it on you will be wider than stock and there's nothing you can do about it besides buying offset rims..

Durablues Eliminator axle, actually has holes in. THen you put a pin down through your hub and the axle. Not a very good setup, but the axle itself is very tough, but it will snap b4 it bends becuase it is hollow.

i cant say anything bad about durablues. The guy that i know that has a elimninator has landed some pretty hairy jumps, and hes landed them pretty crooked and outta shape, and nothing wrong with it. Hes not a little guy either, bout 250. I wouldnt run one, for the simple fact that ide rather bend one then snap one, but like i said, its holdin up great for him. And he doesnt take it easy on the whole quad.

LSR Excaliber adjustable from stock to +4 for an R. Thats what I am running in my R. They sell for around $200 new on Ebay all the time. I think they list for around $350. It will work in an EX but you will have to use R hubs.
