yea i found a supertrapp for a good deal and i was wondering what yall thought about it and some pros and cons

Back a couple of years ago when I had my 300ex, I bought a brandy-new Supertrapp IDS2 system. For the price, it was the best deal I felt for an aftermarket exhaust system.

Overall, it increased in the low-mid range.... not much else. For trails, it's probably ok... if you're looking for more top end, look elsewhere.

It's definitely lighter and sounds better than stock.....
depending on how many discs you run, depends on if you need to rejet or not...

Just my opinion...

yea thanks im thinkin about it caus ei ride alotta trails but i like to have more topend power for when im not so i might look in to this

ans also is really that loud cause i had a cobra and i had to go back to stock cause it was so loud and had no power gains

I had cobra too but just went back to stock.....too loud & no big power gains, anyways....supertrapp=supercrapp, you might get some small performance out of it. it sounds like a riding lawnmower anyways

i think if u get a powroll oversized head pipe with it u will notice a big difference b/c i know thats the way they were sold before. and powroll is known for having good set ups

I would check out HMF! I think for overall quality, looks, and performance they can't be beat. Plus their prices are great!

their are many better pipes out their than supertrapp and they are very loud if that is soemthing u have to take into play...white bros, hmf, 2 very good pipes!

hey yackarses, dont bash supertrapp unless youve had them.:grr: :grr: its like your talking out of your ***. i had one for my recon and i got huge gains with just the system, k&n, and that was before the rejet. it increased power throughout the whole rpm range, and i could keep up with, if not beat 300ex's in drags, and i could also keep up with warriors.....i smoked 250ex's and z250's. supertrapp makes a great, excellent quality pipe.
