Does any one know of any tricks or tips to help on the bottom end of a 87 250r. I broke my case so I will be tearing it down and replacing the cases. Any info would help

Do the '89 style clutch rod/ball conversion.

The 86-88 clutch rods with the ball were prone to wearing and they fixed it in 89.

change the shifting forks they are probely wore if they are the same ones that have been in it scince new it will make shifting a lot smuther.
