aight...i have a good many mods on my 300. but with me running 14/38 gearing, mine almost seems to have No low end at all, and too much top end. I have a 12t front sprocket also, but wouldnt that be too low? im thinking about goin back to stock gearing (13/38) cuz the 14 is just too high feeling, like i cant get the holeshot for nothing? wat do yall think?

Hey Out_sider, use the 12t and you will gain the low end back. every tooth you drop in the front is equal to 3 teeth in the rear sprocket...... you will lose the top end speed but you will get out of the hole quick (holeshot) ...

You might consider 18"X11X8 wheels and tires ......that will help alot ...

Is there some reason you changed to the 14t front? Perhaps you wanted more top-end, but now you have too much?

By changing the rear sprocket, you get much more precise adjustment. By going down 1 tooth in the rear to a 37, you get slightly more top end, instead of a major change like the 14T front sprocket.
