2004 Stock 400ex

I just bought a new 2004 along with my 2000 decked out. got it for a practice bike. It only has a FMF full system(powerbomb header and powercore 4) with a white brothers power filter. what else can i do to get more speed horsepower and so on without diggin into the motor. thanks:)

jet kit, maybe go up a tooth or 2 on the rear sprocket

I had a jet kit in my 200 426ex and it runs better without it. IS going up on the sprokets about the only thing i can do...

yeah, i probally wouldn't do much besides a cam and piston. that will really wake the bike up for the price paid. if you have a service manual for a 400ex, its isn't even difficult to do yourself.
