im running a 99 416ex
port an polish
hotcams stage one
rev box
modified airbox
weisco 11-1 comp piston
k&n filter and precharger


right now im running a stock piolt jet (what size is that)
but when its like above 50 degrees my quad startes up just fine, but when i haul it to my buddies, in 30 degree weather, i try to start it outside and well it doesnt want to start that great, any idea on what size piolet jet i should be running, and what steps should i do to remove my choke off of my carb!

42 pilot jet is what you need.

your stock pilot is prob a 38 listen to rico go w/ the 42

My setup is close to identical:
I run a 45 pilot
Middle Needle clip
I removed the choke and it is so much easier to start. Just stab it a few times. Just try starting it without using the choke until you get the hang of it. Good luck bro
