Im looking for a thumb throttle for a 400ex. Does anybody know if anyother kind of thumb throttle will work with an edelbrock carb such as a 300ex, 250r, or 250x? thanks.

worrier throttles work with no mod to the box, I used the 400ex and just put the twist throttle wheel so the pull is aobut like stock

if you get the dirtwheels mag, look in there. I saw an advertisment last night, and they said that they kit works with carbs as large as 44mm. I think it came with the whole throttle....body..and cable, so it will probably costs a little more than a warrior throttle;) I'll look again tonight and see if I can find the company name, seeing as how I can't remember off the top of my head......

A friend just gave me one of these and can't wait to try it. He put one of these on his banshee. I rode it before the Terry Cable thumb throttle, and rode it after we installed it. What a difference, the thumb throttle has a longer lever and shorter throw. It's nice and smooth.

Terrycable sucks period. I have owned one and was not impressed with it at all. It worked fine for about two races and now the throttle sticks wide open all the time. I grease and grease it still wide open. Waste of $140 if you ask me, but thats IMHO.

than I would say your best bet would be the warrior throttle;)
