In yesterdays Hazleton Standard Speaker;
The Tri-Area Recreational Authority in Hazleton will pay a Wikes-Barre firm $7,000 to perform a feasibility study on a ATV/ Motocross park that could be built within the confines of it's member municipalities. The recreational Authority will be taking public comment on the proposal at upcoming meetings. To voice your support please call the Authority @ 570-455-7276 and leave a voice mail. The contact persons are Neil Oberto or Bill Midlick. If you live close by, attend a meeting, they are held the first Wednesday of the month at the Broad Street business exchange in Hazleton.
As a rider from the Hazleton area, a park for ATV's and Motocross would have obvious benefits for many riders and businesses in the area. I urge everyone who rides to call the Authority and help make this a reality.
