Just Rode The 450r!!!!!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know the first model has reached Cycle Sports of Eugene today and I GOT TO RIDE IT!!!!!! It isn't on the floor yet but most of our crew was able to take it for a few hot laps this afternoon. All I have to say is DAMN I LOVE WORKING AT A CYCLE SHOP!!! Anyways, I'm at work right now so gotta scoot!!!!

if anyone rode my bike before i got to get it there would be hell. i would be pissed beyond belief. plus most people said they are not going to be shipped till the 28th, post some pics.

That would be the thing with buying one. You know everyone at the dealership is dying to ride one. You know that the minute the first arrival is uncrated, there will be a line of mechanics and salesmen forming to ride it.


If I had a deposit on one, I would tell them I need to see it uncrated. If not, refund my deposit.

that is great. and i would want people to ride the quad before i just buy it becuase then they can tell what they think of it. and it might inspire that person to get one so thats a good thing i think. then i would like to see the smile on there face after they rode it. then you can say you don't got one and i do. lol:D

and if any thing was broke on it when i got it. i would just tell them to fix then i will get so no problem here

Well I just picked mine up and it is SWEET!!!! I haven't got a chance to ride it yet and neither has ANYONE eles. It isn't even PDIed yet. I'm going to go put gas and oil in it right now! Can't wait for Saturday!:D :D :D :D :D

Mine won't be in for about another 4 weeks , but my friend is the power sports mgr at the dealer and when it gets here i get to open the crate and help with any assm. So i know mine won't be trashed by the staff there.;)

Sorry guys, unfortunately I don't have any pics to prove I rode a 450R. If you don't believe me thats cool, at least I know the truth. Those are awesome bikes though! I was kinda being a weanie about it yesterday when I first hopped on but when I really decided to get on it I just about wheelied it over backwards. Guess I should have been more prepared for the power than I was. I also found it was extremely easy to kick over which surprised me. I like the way it looks except for the front plastic, needs more of a nose underneath those lights. Anyways, I now know that I will definitely be getting the new Honda instead of the Yamaha. The employee discount helps alot too, not just the fact that it feels like it has more power.

Ya I'm at I 90 but I got it from RMC. They pissed me off at work so I bought it elsewhere. That was the only one they got in at RMC and we have got one at I 90 but I think there are already deposits down on it but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure I'm heading for Sand Lake for Sunday and Monday. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
