desktop picture

i was wondering how you guys take pictures of your desktop wallpaper with out a camera? if you know what i mean. like saving a picture of the desktop as a file. i've seen it done before but couldn't figure out how it was done

i know theres a way to do it with the irvanview program.

on top of your keyboard, next to the F12 key, there should be a Print Screen or PntScrn key, hit that, then go to your photo/image program and hit Copy or Ctrl + C... that should do it!

Actually it would be paste or ctrl + ,v not copy;)
