I like the baja. The desert does look a tad bit thicker though. I'm going to buy a baja as soon as the funds allow it. Go with the baja!

PRM makes nice, quality stuff. I just put a Desert bumper on my V Force. Very well made, and looks great.

NO offence Meek but I agree, they have to be the worst looking bumper on the market. (cool pic though) Probably easier to trash them too with the long tubes running in all different directions. A good hit to the top point on that bumper and good by. I like my compact, smaller and better looking desert series..:D

Personally I like the desert bumper better than the Baja. Colby just got a baja for his cannondale (I think he did that just because I like the other one :o )

You also think Rosie O'donell is hot..:o

If PRM didn't have the desert bumper I would using something else. The guy that designed their bumpers must like ugly things...:p

LOL...

I'm switching to an IMS like this one. Similar to the AC but a little bigger.

I think they are as pretty as Ben in a pink dress, but I have ran into a lot of chit and it is still holding up great. I hit a tree head on, hard enough to break 2 of the 4 bolts that hold the bumper on and did not bend the bumper.

I have a Baja on my 400ex that my son has smacked 2 trees with and busted the bolts out of one side and it still looks good. My Baja on my Predator has not be as fortunate. While racing at Crawfordsville a guy on a YFZ wouldn't let me pass, so I was right on his back end trying to move him along. He clipped a tree and spun sideways and I pushed him off the trail bending the top part back. After the race I just pulled it back out with a ratchet strap and has bee good since then.

Now thats what Im talkin about.

I thought I recognized some of the user names, quad descriptions, and photos on these boards.

Lets hope we get a little less rain the night before some of this seasons hare scrambles. I can't wait to show off my winter project 400ex.

The information gained from this website has helped tremendously.

I feel confident enough that Im gonna jump back in the Pro class and grab a little of that cash.

Don't miss that muddy *** parking lot one bit though.

I agree with you guys that the summit might be ugly.....but it protects your front plastic and your shock rezzies better then any other bumper on the market. IMO I have ran a summit sice 2001 and have never broke the bumper itself. i have broke many bolts off in the frame but the bumper has held up.

I would stay away from PRM unless they have changed in the last few years..... I got a skid plate from them for a LT250 and had to have it modified.... they would not send a replacement or pay for my repairs.
Then because I had not learned my lesson :eek2: I ordered A-Arm skids. I wanted to make sure they would fit and other companies could not assure fit with different style skid on body.

 Guess what again did not fit right had to take a grinder to them just to get full travel out of A Arms and again they would not send a replacement or pay for my time to fix them....

POOR PRODUCT AND WORSE SERVICE.....

Again maybe they have changed but I just warn you what I went through... and before you ask it was all stock......

My PRM bumper went on fine. How long ago did this happen to you. People say the same thing about AC. I guess sometimes ther is just a few bad apples in the batch.

i have the summit on my 400ex and it has nocked a quad ovver the top of a hill at the ironman one out of ruts in texas and a tree at a local race that sheered off a mounting bolt and it still is very strong and not trashed i have had AC AND DG and trashed them both they really made a strong bumper
