I'm in college and I have to come up with a design project for my CAD class. It can be any part that atleast has four or more pieces to it. But it has to either be something completely new or something redesigned. I'm trying to think of something for a quad but I have no clue. So I'd figure I would ask you guys what are some things for a quad that you wish you had but isnt either made or poorly designed.

Please help me!

by the way it doesnt have to deal with quads if you have any other good ideas

Thanks

id say the shock relocator bracket for 300ex/400ex conversion but it may come up short on the 4 pieces requirements

How about a nerf/belly skid/heel guard combo? Just a thought. Then the whole assembly could bolt on as one. Good luck with the CAD project.

I'm in the same boat, I'm thinking carbon fiber, hubs, axle, swingarm, 4 pieces.

do the bolts that mount it count as a piece?

You didn't say it would have to be useful, but you know the swingarm extenders you see for Yamahas.... well, make one for a 300/400. I think it would be fairly simple and would have to be a 2 piece on its own to be able to slip into the original swingarm hole. The remaining parts would be needed for chain adjustment and brake holders. Just a thought. Prolly wouldnt' work that great, but it might get you a good grade. :)
