Is there anyway to PC aluminum? I want my sidecases done. They were polished a little by the previous owner. I want something that will last. I know how to polish but i dont have the equipment to do something big. Thanks, Anthony
Look into anodizing it looks pretty trick on aluminum.

Sure can.
For the best results, make sure your coater uses Aluminum Chromate on it before coating or at least give it an Iron Phosphate bath.

How much would that cost? How long would it take pappy to do that? Sounds like it would look good.
yea pappy does do side cases, I've gotten mine done. I'll have to take pictures of them sometime today, charcoal metallic.
As for cost you would have to ask him but I think his turn around time is a week and a half tops.

Using aluminum chromate or an Iron Phosphate bath Is just part of the coating process to get the best adhesion for the powder. Some coaters skip on this step to save time and money, I use it on everything I coat. Down side is if you go to strip it, it makes it even harder to get the coating off. You would have to ask Pappy about his turn around time. Probably best to PM him.
