heres my quad when i first got it a year and a half ago...total piece

ok I'm gonna try to list all of the stuff thats on it

426cc 11:1 comp hot cam stage 2
lrd full chrome exhaust

Elka triple rate front shocks
22" front holeshot XCs on .190 douglas
20" rear razr2s
DID x-ring chain
RAD bearing carrier
PRM full and rear skidplates
PRM bumper
Burgard steering stem
Renthal bars
New steering stem bearings, front wheel bearings, linkage bearings
'01 yellow plastic and graphics
ceet seat cover
K&N air filter
painted frame and subframe


its got a Axis dual rate rear shock on it but that will be goin on my mx quad once I get the frame and all back from pappy

yea i have a AC heavy duty I'll be runnin on the rear and PRM body skidplate

all that totals to $7610...then theres still other stuff Gibson steering damper, chain and sprockets, rear brake rotor and all the usual cables and whatnot that always need to get replaced...I think it will all be worth it :devil: I hope :(

Mine isn't really a rebuild.I bought a nice 02 ex.It looked brand new when I bought it.


So far I have added 22/7/10 6 ply razr's on factory wheels,20/11/9 6 ply razr's on ITP's.(Soon to be replaced with new one's on factory wheels.)Today I ordered a HMF slip on and some renthals.I think I am going to take the front shocks off my R and put them on my EX and get some new one's for my R.Then I need to get a bumper and skids.Maybe a high comp piston and a cam.I don't wanna put major money into it.I have gotten alot more comfortable in the last few months on my 400.So that always helps.


One of these days I will become a supporting member so I can post pics.I just don't like putting my credit carb info on the net.

Thanks, I downgraded cause the seller took $ off the price if he could keep them and give the douglas instead. I'll be getting hiper's this spring anyways...:devil:

Bad idea! Went that route once, might as well have no lid for XC. Go to Airbox Tips (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85693) and look at my set up. works VERY well. :cool:

after using razr's in the past, I wont ever make the switch back, holeshot xc's or xcr's for me please, I would have went with the xcr 03's but I heard they push in much as dont ride well at all.. so i went with xc's.

I agree with you on your decision to run ITP's. I seem to see way more flats with maxxis tires that ITP's at XC races. I really like the XC's too. Tough as nails as long as you keep them off of the asphalt.:D

i'm not sure on the fuel, i need to get in a few 2hr test sessions too see, the first ims tanks made you remove the tank cover the new ones that dont crack like the old ones, supposibly do not require that.. I am gonna wait and see, not being able to run sponsor graphics up there hurts a little.
