Well I decided I'm going to order my elkas today, but will I be able to run them with a stock rear? cause after I get the fronts I won't have enough cash to do anything with my rear shock for awhile :(

yes...it will ride alot better with them regular ones....after you see how much better the fronts are you will get the rear done after you save your pennies....

I'm running triple rate with rezzies SSD with a stock rear end. It's not that bad, but I wanna get my rear end race teched or something. But like they said, I need to save some pennies for that.

I just installed my front Elka's that I got from Quadfather. We swapped rear shocks also. He had his rear 400ex rear shock redone by Marty over at the Quad Shop with different valving & springs to match the weight & style of riding the fronts were set up for. All I can say is WOW what a difference. Ride's like it's on rails now & looks like a low rider. lol

The Elka's will help a lot. Even with the stock rear, you will notice a lot better performance in the front!

just make sure it's level or a half inch higher at the front of the frame so you get rear traction till you get your rear rebuilt.. and make sure they zero preload the rear shock so it lowers it enough to compliment the elkas
