A big riding spot in SC is salti, i think its about a 30 minute ride from here, its a decent size sand dune and its awesome to ride on, we need to hook up :macho

Give him my loggin here in EXriders. I go riding pretty much every weekend at the closest MX track. Carolina Motocross track. Plus, there is another group that I have yet to ride with that go up to Columbia to ride the sand dunes.

Eddy, I live in Anderson SC. I went over to Strawberry Hill a couple of months ago and raced. I mostly trail ride now but I still like to race every now and then. Maybe we can hook up and go one weekend.

Ok, since you're up here in this corner of the state, where is Strawberry hill, and how is the track. Ive heard of it, found a few places on the net mention it, but I never really could find anything about it. Im not sure if I will be able to bring the quad up to school with me next year, but I would like to be able to if I had a place to ride at.

Hey Speeddemon, Strawberry hill is over in Fountain Inn SC check out their website @ www.strawberryhillmx.com. Its a fast pace track not a lot of doubles. They are only 2 or 3 doubles and they aren't that big. Check out the website and let me know what you think. What school are you going too?

Im at Clemson trying to learn how to be an engineer.

That track looks better than what I thought it would. I'll have to try it out sometime this spring. I would soon, but right now my truck is sitting in the body shop waiting to be fixed. So Im stuck without a vehicle up here. Once I get it back I'll have to head out there to check it out. Other thing I noticed was their race series is also run at Aonia pass, which is close to home for me, so who knows, maybe I'll run a few races this summer.

I almost forgot im goin to the MX track in bishopville today (wednesday) to see if I can find it and ride, if anyone wants to come i'll be in a white truck with a red 440ex on the back.

Carolina Motocross is just outside Yemassee. It's off of Alt Route 17. Combahee Rd is the road you need to take to get to the track. If you want to come let me know. Any problems finding it stop in Yemassee and they will be able to give you better directions. Also there is a number on www.ncdirtrider.com. Look under South Carolina tracks.

I live about 1 hour below Savannah GA. Took me about 5.5 hours to get to the Big Buck GNCC near Spartenberg.

I was at strawberry hill on the 3rd. I raced the pro class with norris quinn and all them. Crashed coming out of second turn first moto because i got slammed into but i recovered nicely. I was thinking of going to turkey creek also this weekend because i dont feel like fighting the masses at aonia this weekend with the LL qualifier in conjunction with gpg series going on. Maybe ill see you, i need to ride because i got a tt national race next weekend at triplecraceway to get ready for.

A few of you mentioned riding the sand dunes in SC. Where are some dunes that I can ride an ATV at? I just got my 400ex and I'm looking for some places to ride. I'm in lexington close to Columbia.

so far I've only ridden at Parson Mountain and Enoree national forest.
