400EX motor mounts ?

I was just wondering if I could get away somehow to take off my 2 front motor mounts so I could pc them? Do I need to put a brace or something against the motor after taking them off? I want to take the mounts off without taking anything else off. Can I do this?

Any suggestions I would appreciate. Thanks.:)

just take them off....the engine will not fall violently to the floor killing several children .....and a cat:eek2: :blah:

Thanks Pappy! I was pretty sure but I figured that I just got most of my crap back together, the last thing I need is for something stupid to happen, lol! Especially with me, it never hurts to ask I figure.;)
