Polishin my sidecases???

I don't wanna sound dumb but i have never had them off... So when i got to take em off do i need to drain the oil first or won't any fluids come out??? I dunno maybe i'm dumb but i just don't want a mess if i take em off to polish and oil goes everywhere:devil: :confused: :confused:

yes drain your oil, take the oil filter off

Don't polish them. It is a waste of time unless you want to redo them all the time. Send them out to be chrome dipped. Much more durable, and looks great!:cool:
