atc to atv conversion

any one know where I could find a trke to quad conversion kit, one of my buddys is intrested in doing this to his 350x. now I am intrested in seeing how these kits work. I have heard they arnt worth a shiznit. a link to a web site would be cool Ive been looking but cant find anything

They aren't worth the money to do them at all. The weight balance is way off, and the kits usually don't give very good geometry. The best thing I can think of is to put the 350x engine into a 300ex frame. Almost a bolt in engine and the swingarm rear shock etc will bolt up. You just need a front end which you can get for around 130.

dude best kit is powroll kit they have to put a 350x in a 250x frame......if you lookin for a 250x chassis i got 1....id do a 250x/350x conversion before i did an atc to atv conversion imo
