I got this off of the trailsheaven web site.
* What are the rules?
Adult supervision is required for those under age 16.
ATV operators must meet manufacturers? minimum age requirements.

Has anyone that is younger than 16 been there on a quad? I don't wanna go and them not LET me ride.

~Kyrie~ I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Us WV folks are real easy going:D

Lil braff, if you have a helmet on they won't care if your 10 years old. As Taco stated they are pretty laid back. We've seen people riding double and with no helmets on before so you'll be just fine. I would bet a cooler of beer they won't care and that you'll be just fine...:D

Lil - Braff
01-19-2004, 11:59 AM
LOL!! Yea as long as they got the $$ they prolly wouldn't care. LOL.

Taco-I can tell that yall WV foks are very laid back from you lil avatar!! lol j/p

Not to rain on her parade, but what about getting her trail pass? Everyone has to sign one of those, is that going to be a problem for her?

jcsact
01-23-2004, 02:23 PM
We had two illegals in our group last year and your parent/guardian has to sign there waver anyway if you are under 16.

That way LIL won't even have to go up to the ranger station. She just pulls over to the side and leaves her helmet on and you won't have a problem. :D

Lil - Braff
01-23-2004, 02:42 PM
I already checked that out doibugu. and they said that as long as I had a legal gaurdian with me, that I would be fine. ;) So lets get some more young people going!!

I usually reserve enough area for about 40 people. How many do you plan on bringing down and will you be in tents or staying in large pull behind trailers???

seatec
02-19-2004, 08:36 AM
If all goes well, i will be pulling in with a 30' fifth wheel. Cant garuantee it though. And if i can get HOnda5 and wife to go they will also have a large RV with them. THis is for the July trip mind you.

bradley300
02-19-2004, 08:36 AM
for the most part, everyone stays at the campground, makes it easier in the mornings when its time to got to a trail head. i have 3 sites reserved, forgot wich ones, but they are the same 3 rico always gets.

the hillclimb/bar/gocart track/dragstrip place is not a part of the trail system, but i'm positive we will be there at least one night, i'll try to fing thier website and see if the hill and/or dragstrip will be running that nite

Hey guys it's been a while since I been on here for everyone who reads this this is a word of caution for you.

This past fall in the Logan area there was a group here from ohio and they stayed in a hotel in West Logan area of town. They had two full sized pickups with quads in the back, and quads in the trailers a total of 12 all together. When they woke up the next morning all their stuff was gone they found the trucks burned in the man area they called the Police and took all the info they needed. When the investigation was done. The total cost of everything trucks, trailers, quads and equipment came to $110,000. People keep your stuff locked up park with the trailers facing the building so they can't get to it so easy. But i thought everyone would like to know this

Contrary to popular belief, WV is somewhat modernized. Seriously tho, Chief Logan does have shower/restroom facilities. As for food, some people go out to local resturants and others just cook there at camp.

Use Logan, WV in Mapblast. It's not a very big town so that should give you a real good idea of driving time and mileage.

Man thats a long drive but i cant back it i got a race that weekend unless i do not come up with the Cash to fix the Quad.

Hatfield is as far away from me as LBL is, so I normally head to Hatfield over LBL. LBL is fun but hatfield offers waaaaaaaaaaaay more and it's worth the extra drive....

Lookin forward do the July trip..

I believe the weekend selected there is no GNCC races. Don't know about anything local.

I come from Chicago and look forward to this trip every year. I don't know what day I am going to leave this year but I will probably come down Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope to have a camper this year. No more sleeping on wet ground.:D

We'll be rolling in Thursday sometime. I'd say more toward evening around 4 or 5.

Total blow out of the left knee, ACL, meniscus and surrounding tissue all F'd up! Ordered a bunch of mods to be prepared for a good ride and I ain't gonna make it. Surgery scheduled sometime in the next 2 weeks, 6 weeks on crutches and a year of rehab. So you guy's take lots of pictures so i can see what I missed!:(
