Hey guys
I was wondering if any of you use or know anyone that uses a powroll engine it. I am thinking about getting the 415cc kit and an xr drop in cam. What do you think The kit is only 235 and the cam is like 140. How hard is it to install these, especially the cam. Thanks
James

I think you should go with the TC mx cam. That is a drop in cam also. You can buy a 416 piston anywhere. If your worryed about installin them just bring them down to brad:D

I want something cheap. I am now thinking about Marcums 416 deal. It comes with gaskets piston cam and valve seals for under 300. I want to install it myself though.

I have the powroll kit and an XR 400 cam. I love it. I did it all my self and it runs awsome.

The only thing you cant do by yourself is bore it...unless you get a really big drill bit that happens to be perfect for your piston...:D

The powroll kit is a rip off. Its a piston and a head gasket for 235. Just go find a piston at another shop. Your'll svae alot!

The TC MX Cam is Setup for MX Style Racing. It is a Drop-In with No Mods needed to be done. It costs $205 from TC. That`s about all I know. PM Chris29. He has the TC MX Cam.

The TC Site is not done yet. Call TC, 814-723-3514.

Powroll did the crank for my stroker and made the rod. they did pretty good work. they have been around for about 30 years. i havent had any problems with them.

James, It was easy. All you need is a service manual and a good set of tools. I did notice power gains all around. But once i put the FCR on i noticed the biggest gain, it really helped
