Seriously, is the 400 EX as fast as a.......

Honda 250R?


I've heard several different opinions on this question. Has anybody out there ridden both?

Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks for your help.

I'm deciding what to buy. I want something fast, but I want it to be dependable and electric start so my wife can ride it. :)

I have ridden both. If you are just going to be doing general riding and sometimes let your wife ride it you should get the 400. The 250r is faster though. If you plan on racing and are serious about it I would say get the 250r.

James- Since you have a 400ex i guess you arnt serious about racing and dont ride hardcore!;)

get a tricked out 400ex, like a 416, or the best, 440

James70214- Man its easy to run your mouth over the computer, in about a month we will see who rides hardcore! If i can figure out where all these parts go.
