New seat, PC'd A-arms & lower shock springs, new throttle and clutch cable, GT thunder ported head, heavy duty cam chain, GT thunder CDI box, Air box lid modification from GT thunder, couple new bushings here and there, I just purchased a IMS 4.3 gallon tank that has to go on before the Texas GNCC and I'll be installing a Elka Long Travel linkage and springs next week.:D

I took it out today for the first time since the motor work was completed and the SOB hauls the friggen mail....:muscle:

I thought you had a R hood on it or do you switch between full and cut fenders?

I like it a lot. My 400 will look very much a like. I will have a red/black theme.

I do have an R hood but it's on another set of fenders and I do switch back and forth between XC and MX. I also have a new feathercarbon hood mailing out on monday. I'll be putting it on the cut fenders.

There's nothing those quads can do that mine can't,, at least for my riding skill. THe dale and yfz might have more HP and more topend but I don't need it. I"ve ran just fine with all the quads you listed on rides and in races. I"m comfortable with the power mine has and the suspension/chassis isn't bad either..

I'll never get rid of it, but that doesn't mean I won't buy a newer model in the future....:o

Looks good Rico.

send me some pics once you get the new hood installed. I think I might get one of them instead of new plastic. Not sure yet.

I'm curious to see how mine is going to run against yours. I just need senor Jeff to send me my cam so I can button mine up.

dont listen to the critisizers Rico....next ride we'll just sit around the fire, drink beer and admire the nice job you did on your 400 :D

beer drinking with good company > riding

just my opinion of course.
