I think if ya go .80 over it makes it a 416 but im not sure. If i had a 400ex I would deffinaley go with the Sparks 416 National Kit!

a 416 is .080 over...and i would go with a 416 and do exactly what he said...sparks 416 national...thats what i have pretty much...i jus saved my money and bought all the parts i needed seperatly...i think this is the best way to go

Theres no replacement for displacement!

Go 440 and don't look back. I have the Wiseco kit and love it.

You could always stroke it and go 502...

well sparks builds quality stuff and stands behind it...say you bought a rev box and u didnt like it...u can send it back and get all ur $...plus they can help you out in many ways...their pistons have a special mod, i dont exactly remeber you would have to ask, but it helps your bike run better it also comes with all the parts that will work together to make your bike have the most performance...check out their site www.sparksracing.com

I don't know what a 440 feels like but I'm happy with my 416, buy the parts at C&D Racing and do it yourself...save a ton of money......Sparks can't be that much better

i dont have an overbore but all i have heard is go with the 416 or 426 because it makes better power.

If you want the most power out of a bore You would have to go with the 92 mm big bore piston, you would also need to bore the cases. I think that would put you up to 460 or 465cc's.

a 440 has more power...it is just a 416 is easier to get power out of...to get a 440 to have more power then a 416 you must do neccisary mods which people do not like to spend extra money on...such as porting, carb, etc...which on a 416 is not a must

I'm not sure if this enough horsepower. I just got back from Dumont and I was dragging with some friends. A buddy's raptor is piped, jetted, and intake is a pro-flow. It was our first chance to drag since my engine work (below). I was beating him. So a pipe yamaha 450 (owner claimed it was cammed, and jetted didn't know the owner so can't account for his riding abilities). I beat him up comp hill too! Made the drive home niiiice!
