OK,today after i finally put everything bak on the ride,and got my battery charger,and do all the stuff....then i go hit the starter button nuttin,so 10 mintues later im still doing the same thing,then a lil exhaust comes out,so then i get it running for about two seconds then black smokes starts coming outta the exhaust,i mean really black.Then it starts backfiring and loud ***** bangs,i no i gotta jet it,but what could the black smoke be from?bad gas is what im thinkin.....can someone help me out here,im runnin a uni air filter,and yoshi slip on as far as engine wise goes,and im runnin with my lid on..and what size jets will i need,it about now anywere from 0 to 30 even sometimes 40 degress and im in new jersey so i would say the elevation at most 200,idk for sure im just takin a wild guess....so can someone help me out here please.

Black smoke means your running really really rich.;) My 300 usally starts easier with the lid off tho.

you flooded it and you may have fouled the plug

and when you put a pipe and filter on and you dont jet it, it better run lean or else the pipe isnt doing its job

the plug isnt fouled i checked it a couple times while doing it,but i jus gotta rejet it,and dats it i think,plus i didnt start really good because i was using some chity gas.
