Im thinkin about switching from my midrange CT pipe to the TC Racing Shorty pipe for my new built 440 from GT Thunder, could I please see some pics of that pipe on your quads? Are there any power losses from such a short pipe? Thanks so much!

You might loose topend but i'm sure the GT thunder motor will do just fine..

All the dyno's I"ve seen on the TC pipe showing at peak RPM it produces less power than stock.. But down low it's great.

Thanks Rico, thats what I suspected. Probably gonna go with 12:1 or possibly even 13:1 compression with my 450/451 grind Webcam that I have now so I think the motor will compensate more than enough for the power loss up top. I only race MX so all out top end isnt the most important thing. Anyone got any pics please? Thanks again.

Thanks for the pics Slosh, thanks for the offer but I was going to buy a brand new unit instead. I forgot to ask, can I buy the pipe as a full system with an oversized header with the silencer or does it only come as the silencer where I will have to mate it up to another company's header pipe? Thanks again!

When i bought mine i was told the tc unit used the stock head pipe and that was considered the "full system" But the only downside to the pipe is that you have to cut like 5-6 inches off your stock head pipe in order for the tc pipe to work. Kinda shady to ask me but thats the way it was designed. Hope i helped you out.
