dont quote me on this but i do believe one of the major mods they do is remove the sway bar which allows the axle to move like that. i read something on it a while ago...but im not completely sure.

yea, if you remove the swaybar it will have more articulation but still not as much as im looking for. im wanting like...30+ inches of articulation. i was going to build either a toyota truck or ford ranger for off road but my bro got a rover truck (aka land rover discovery) so i gotta build something that will wheel better than that! when we finish building the rover truck its gonna be on 33-35's with around 25 inches of articulation, hopefuly more so i gotta beat that. haha thanks for the help! later...

If you have a TJ, you'll wanna go with a Rubicon Express long travel kit. I built this one for a friend....

Try checking out one of these sites www.jeepforum.com or www.jeeptime.org . The second one has some links that may lead you somewhere.

rubicon or 8" skyjacker for TJ
Spring over with 21/2" old man emu springs for YJ

Both can be done for about $1,500

are you talking about the suspension kit? if you are, i dont think it will cost me 4500. tho it will cost me another 4500. after i get it all done because its gonna be a ******* of a jeep! thanks for the comments! oh...by the way its a wrangler

my bros rover truck is a 94 discovery. its the only 94 we have ever seen? its not in perfect condition...but its still nice. there is just a few little BS things like switches, pins in the doors, springs just little things wrong that do nothing but piss you off. we are going to build a full outside cage for it and brush guards and things like that. its gonna be pimp when its done...
