Why is it that everyone who has a beer by there computer it is always lite or something? IS that just so you can feel big because you can say you drank like 5 beers and didn't get a buzz or anything? :confused:

My computer setup has got change. My piece and setup is from the stone age or something. Nicest part is that I am sitting in a sweet *** chair that used to be 'lawn furniture.':D

i have a laptop with about a 50' phone cord on it... i can go just about anywhere in the house, so every room is my computer/beer drinkin room.

my room is pretty much redneck, a shelf of nascar collectables, 2 confederate flags, paintball guns layin in the floor, i guess the first 2 qualified it. i bet i have the smallest desk. its actually meant for doing homework and stuff.

I used to have a room for my PC and beer drinkin and any other chit I wanted in there but my wife now has my ironing board in there and I keep my vacuum and furniture polish and other cleaning supplies in it that she tells me to use all the time. :(

my entire house is my beer drinking/computer area. all rooms are hard wired 10/100 ethernet...even the kitchen. add in a wireless access point for the laptop and i access the net outside too.

i do have a dedicated computer room for my desktops...but you do not want to see what that looks like. you will understand fully why i use "geek" in my screen name.

Man, Go to Staples or Office Max, get one of those chair floor protectors for a hard floor (no spikes). 15 or 20 bucks. Then get ya a comfy office chair to kick back in. Bump sitting in a dining room chair. Thats what I did.

later that was the only place i had for the bass speaker. i barely have any room for the mouse. there is only 1/2 a foot from the tower to the edge of the desk. you'll notice i had to put the printer on the shelf with my nascar collectables.

I had a similar desk set up at my old house. Pull out the drawer on the right side and lay a book or board across it and put your mouse pad on it. Worked for me:)
