Thanks......Just starting to ride again. I went out to buttercup for halloween and messed up my leg bad. Black and blue and twice the normal size from the toes to the knee. How does Ogilby compare to buttercup?

0gilby rules, not to many rangers and not to many campers either.I am a member of another site, yfz central, and we are planning a trip on that weekend also Jan 30-Feb1. everyone here is more than welcome to come out, and ride with us. If your interested check out the thread at yfz central / open forum / anyone going to glamis? We will have a lighted yfz sign out there on top of one of the trailers, come on over. Its going to be a blast.

I love Ogilby too, but honestly, for riding its no fun. You have to ride pretty far to get to any big dunes. I like it for the kids and the quietness.

Too far to the big dunes huh?? There is some HUGE stuff 1 valley over from Patton... towards TEST.....giant bowls. Hmmm....they're plenty big for me I suppose.

Yeah, Crash929 from the yfz central site is the one that invited me. So it looks like I'll see you out there. How many people do you guys plan on attending so far.

EXJUMPER, I think there is going to be at least 8 to 10 web members alone so far, thats not including friends and family that those members have invited. Its going to be an great time. We still have almost two weeks until the trip, so no tellin how many people are going to be the final count. So come one, come all!

We will be past the tower on the right hand side, I will be down there friday at about 5:00pm with a F.green yukon, and a 16' fun runner just look for all the YFZ's and you'll be at the right place.

I will be with tore ups group. I'm getting down there friday around 3:30pm and I drive a forest green 96 Jeep cherokee and will be towing a trailer with wood sides. Crash929 from yfz central will be getting down there at the same time and he drives a metallic gold Toyota prerunner. What time will you be getting up there? What do you drive? If your going to be leaving AZ around the same time we are, we could meet up some where and caravan out there.

We won't be leaving Phoenix until late Friday evening, I have a dark grey chevy crew cab and a 26' WW, lic. plate is DUNERBL (Dune rebel), there are about 6 or 7 400ex's in our group, we'll be on the lookout.
Other vehicles include white Ford f150 xrta cab w/pop-up trailer, grey chevy xtra cab w/small white trailer, Dodge crew cab w/24' hauler + others not yet comitted.

Cleaned the YFZ last night and it's ready to go. See everyone Friday night.

Alright guys......we made some signs, and I am going to try and come down thursday night and hang them up. The first sign will be just before "Ogilby Rd" meets the rail road tracks so you'll know to take that dirt road. The next one will be placed at the first fork in the dirt road so you go down the right (as in the road that goes left, not RIGHT)one, and not follow the train tracks. The 3rd sign will be just after the small play track on your right side and the final one wil be attached to my trailer marking camp.

We'll probably be to the right of the red tower. If you guys want to go for a ride, look for us. I have a brown S-10 with a One Industries sticker in the back, my brother has a white F-250, and there should be a bunch of others with motorhomes and trailers. I have a red 400ex and my brother has a blue Raptor with the flame graphics/seat cover kit.
