DMC Alien Pipes

How are the DMC alien pipes for a 400ex? what kind of power do they make and how do they sound?

Mine made good power up top & I still have good power down low. The draw back is that the system is really loud. I think someone posted it is louder then the sparks, but I know it is not louder then Duncans Fat Boy 4.

Hey Paul , I have the DMC alien full pipe on one of my 416, and it is loud ... 114 decibals.. I have a ticket for it .... Great pipe, but I had a hell of a time jetting it . once you get rid of the stock carb or have it bored out then you will be ok .... Overall the pipe has great lower and top end ... the Curtis Sparks pip is really hard to beat... you might want to look at the LRD pipe also ...

I thought it was just me. I also had a hard time dialing my carb after installing this pipe. I have a FCR 39 on the way so I get to do it all over again.

what jets u useing that work good? my quad is stock b sides the aliens i just ordered. will it run good if i do all the adj. thats on there web site?

so what about the supertrapp you cant go wrong.... i picked up my bike about 15 horsepower

the fat boy and the alien used to be the same, but not anymore. Duncan is using a different muffler now.

what?? you didn't get 15 hp out of your pipe. i think i got at least that with my dg on a stock 400ex without jetting. :eek:

i was wondering the same thing as you. i didn't know if he was serious or not.
